Reviews:

starsBreville 800COXL Die-Cast Stainless-Steel Motorized Citrus Press
I had a special request for this as a Christmas gift from my daughter. It was a big hit and she uses it all the time. She swears by this one.

starsGreat
I have only juiced a 100 lemons. What I like is the strength of the motor and heavy duty nature of this machine.

starsGreat Juicer
This is our second Breville Juicer, but first of a citrus variety. We are not disappointed with this one either. We got the juicer in the mail within days of placing our order. This is a great investment for our home, with two grapefruit trees and an orange tree to juice.

starsAwesome
Breville 800CPXL Die-Cast Stainless-Steel Motorized Citrus Press

The best product of this type I have ever used. Strong motor, with a heavy stainless steel construction. It will be around my home for many, many years to come.

starsPretty Good for a While
I thought this citrus juicer was very good when I got it in July of 2007. It is nicely finished in easy-to-clean stainless-steel, the lever action makes it less of a strain to get some pressure on the citrus, and it is fairly easy to clean the parts.

I make about 1/2 - 1 cup of juice daily. After a couple of months, something bent or stretched or broke in the hinge mechanism, and it became a little loose. Everything kept working though.

Well, the six month mark came yesteday, and it died. I juiced half of a lime, and when I put the other half in... nothing. I guess the internal switch that activates the motor when one depresses the lever failed.

For $160, I would have hoped that it make to the one year mark. Who knows, maybe I can get it repaired or replaced, but I can no longer recommend this juicer without reservations.

starsExpensive, but a very good product
Bought one 6 months ago after buying a discarding a couple of the lower powered plastic types. This one works very well - it has enough power, is heavy enough not to skid around the counter top and the lever arm takes the effort off your wrists. Only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars is that they need to make larger and smaller anvils available, even at extra cost. The one supplied works fine with everything from large limes through small grapefruit, but is a bit wasteful with small Key limes and very large grapefruit. Not a big drawback, however.

starsBest Juicer Ever
Love this Juicer! My girlfriend has fresh squeezed OJ almost every morning. She's worked in fine restaurants and bars. She said this is the best juicer she's ever seen or used. I love it because it juices completely and is easy to clean. Wonderful!

starsBreville Citrus Press works great!
We really enjoy pressed ours the citrus of Breville. We use in order to make limonata and the juice of orange. It is much easy one to use and easy to clean up. We often use because he is therefore simple to use.

starscitrus juicer
It is a juicer excellent, easy to use and easy to clean up, really worthy it the moneies.

starsExcellent/Outstanding
A year it makes we have bought two pressed of the citrus of Breville -- one for we

starsI love this Juicer
We have alot of orange trees on our property, so we drink alot of juice. This is the best juicer I've ever used. Very quick and easy, and very easy to clean. If you squeeze alot of oranges, get this product. Expensive but worth it.

starsSturdy and easy!
This presser is constructed to last! Since getting it, I've been juicing orange and lime nonstop. It not only makes juicing easy, but assembling and disassembling for cleaning is easy!

starsWarning: Made in Red China
It's a good product, but it's a bit worrisome that it's made in China. I can't help, but think if there is lead or other contaminents that get in my OJ daily. Scary thought. If it was made in the US then I wouldn't worry about that.

starsvery good juicer
the top of the juicer is the only part that can be less predictable otherwise it is a wonderful machine

starsExcellent product
I've learned to expect products from Breville to be excellent, and this juicer is no exception. Made mostly of metal, it is heavy and quite large. Never would I have thought this is a household product. It sure looks and acts like professional equipment in my opinion. I expect years of service. It is very quiet, juices in a flash with hardly any pressure on the handle, and it juices every piece of the fruit. The metal parts are my #1 favorite feature. My next is how easy it is to clean. The parts come apart, clean up, and go right back in with no effort. My only concern is the upper cap, which is lined in plastic, and where it attaches to the press handle, that is plastic. It is sturdy enough though. I also like the hard plastic dust cover that keep the strainer clean between uses. Yea! And, there is a fine mesh filter for NO pulp and a more open filter to let some of the pulp through. The cord raps around under the base with an opening to leave out just enough to reach the socket. No extra cord laying around to get in my way! The plug has that great Breville hole in the center feature. There's even an on and off switch on the side to prevent accidents. Love, love, love this thing. Worth every cent.

starsOur replacement for the Citri-Star...
This is probably the most functional and certainly the most elegant and impressive citrus juicer we've ever owned. It BEAUTIFUL!

It juices oranges sooooo quickly. On larger fruit such as grapefruit I do remove and replace at another angle to get all the juice yet, it's still faster than any hand-operated juicer I've had to date.

Using the Breville I have so much less splatter and clean up. The rind does occasionally stick to the inside of the top press but that's not a problem for me. I keep mine on a paper towel so it's easy to slide under and out from under the cabinet.

The locking spout works beautifully. I've been using this juicer for months with LOTS of grapefruit and oranges and no problems.

The only issue I do have is that the upper press does come off ~ albeit not easily. I usually just take a damp sponge after juicing to clean it daily and remove it once a week to thoroughly wash it.

So easy to clean the strainer with a veggie brush under running water. The rest is rinse of and replace.

The handle is a nice, comfortable one as well.

4 1/2 stars for the removal/replacement of the press.

starsWorks great
All the reviews I read said this was the best juicer, and they were right. It's very sturdy, easy to clean, and looks great in our kitchen. This is the juicer to buy if you want something that will last.

starsYes - This is the Ultimate Juicer for Citrus Fruits
The design and quality of this machine stands out supreme. If you are looking for a machine that has overkill built into every aspect of its construction, clean up ease, power, quietness, and operation - this is the best available to date.

Everything seems to be thought of, including an easy-out power plug and a filter dust cover for use during storage. It is a full time machine - it could juice 24/7 "commercially" with speed and ease. Two sizes of pulp strainers, (filters) automatic motor "switch-on and off" via the press handle operation, and very simple/basic disassembly for easy cleanup are included in its "star" features. Juice dispensing to a glass may be halted and stored in the collection bin by simply flipping the spout in the "up" position as a nice option too.

Its price is equal to its quality, (I paid $135 for mine incl. S&H) perhaps a bit high considering that it is a specialty juicer made strictly for citrus fruits. But that is the product's niche.

If I had to post negatives, (or let's say areas for possible improvement) I would suggest only 2 very minor things, (IMHO).

The unit is larger than I expected. It is about the diameter of a large coffee can and twice the height. (However, its considerable size and weight is proof that it sports a large HD motor).

Secondly, for directly filling tall glasses the drain spout would have to be located higher. This is remedied by positioning the juicer near the edge of a sink or counter and holding taller glasses under the spout.

Altogether, it is an awesome machine, as all other reviewers have adequately stated.

starsCitrus Press
The pressed one of the citrus is large. I compress oranges from the gallon so as to I have need of something that is commercial grade them. They have gone to every warehouse of the apparatuses in Strong Myers, FL and I could not find qualche.cosa that it was meant in order more than a glass to the time. They have gone online and I have found the Breville. He is fast and it will make a bushel of oranges without stalling. The pressed one takes down to risolv of the estate oranges. There is only room enough under the spout for a cup or a glass the spout is enough along so as to you can hang them over the edge of the scatterer and put something a larger small to interfere with the spremuta one.

starsWOW - Exceptional Citrus Juicer!
Breville 800CPXL Die-Cast Stainless-Steel Motorized Citrus Press
The Breville Citrus Press is exceptionally well designed. We've had ours for almost a year and use it frequently. At times, we juice 15-20 pound bags of oranges or grapefruit and the motor is powerful! Our old juicer would overheat or stall after just 3-4 oranges. It not only works great, but Looks great sitting out on the cabinet. We've had lots of compliments and everyone is impressed by ease of use and cleanup. Would highly recommend this product if you are in the market for one powerful juicer!

starsJust as I expected - Wonderful
This unit is quality built and operates well. So far, I've put in six inch grapefruit and 4 inch lemons through it and it handles them efficiently.

Amazing how much juice there is in these fruits!

stars100 stars; beyond awesome citrus press / juicer
This apparatus is absolutely magnificent. I have tried others two juicers, an automatic rifle and a handbook both which they were not not even close to being good. Up to now I have used it with the lemons and the limette. 1. Breville 800CPXL is calm, sturdy and transports the juice of citruses instantaneously. 2. It strains fastly, it presses the lemons and the limette easy and has one sturdy phenomenal base. They are sure that ago particularly well the oranges and the pompelmi also. 3. The base has a heel in it in fashion from being able them graceful measure you grande/tazza high under the spout. 4. The spout down pours finchè spremuta the freed ones. If rimuovete the cup, the just lock the spout on the place so as to spremuta residual it does not drip down. 5. The sieves are many bonds. If used the principle sieve, the fine pools a lot (more small of the polpa) to falliranno times. In more, all the polpa is not filtered through the sieve but you can select that what wished. The pools of the reduced ndemnity and the polpa must attend from the principle sieve. If only wished the spremuta one to filter itself through, therefore uses the fine sieve. 6. The Assembly is much easy one and us they are not too many you leave. It is sure to crack the cupola of the fruit in the place. And it has not continued to fly outside during the operation until that you did not realize that I have not cracked it within closely. 7. Yes, the handle is too much high in order to store under the contatori but you can down make up for this coupling an elastic one loosened to the edge of the handle and lengthening it to the side of the labbro on the spout of the gocciolamento. Then an pleasant cover of the apparatuses is obtained (as a cover of the creator of coffee or the mixer -- both mines job) and stores it on your contatore. 8. I have not thought that the pressed one too much heavy was confronted to my mixer 100% of the subsidy of the kitchen. However, it is heavier than the greater part of the juicers more little expensive of the citrus on the market but that one must attend from therefore sturdy apparatus. 9. I have found the pulizia for being extremely easy various of some of the other customers. I have traforo carpal bilateral much defective one, that it is the reason that main I have bought this unit. It takes little pressure that watering one toletta in order to work. If you press too much hard, you will put to knot the fruit; a clear touch is all that is necessary. For me, this is an apparatus fabulous, that it is express, easy, sturdy and a pleasure to use. The operation and the total one nearly are intuiti to you.

starsThe Way a Juicer Should Be Made
This product is notable not only for its ease of use but also for its craftsmanship. Juicing couldn't be simpler or more foolproof, and cleanup is remarkably easy - especially in light of the dishwasher safe components.

It is sad, but true, that few products today are made with the attention to detail and quality of construction that this juicer exhibits. I will be interested to see if other products from this manufacturer are of equal, or even better, design and build. This is a standout in a field of mediocrity.

starsCadillac of the press product category
I have possessed this product for two months and can say that it is easy to use, easy to clean up and Marches excellent adding to anyone kitchen. I am speeding up pricipalmente oranges of Valencia for a glass of morning of the OJ, but moreover I have used them for limonata, etc.

starsGreat orange juicer!
It has bought this specifically for oranges juicing

starsBest citrus juicer!
This juicer is quality made and will possibly be the only citrus juicer you will ever need. Top of the line quality. Heavy but rests solidly on the cushioned feet. Very low noise. When I turn it on it is just a slight hum while being used. Very easy to clean. This juicer is more expensive than other brands but worth it in my opinion. Having grapefruit and orange trees I make my own juice so this will pay for itself soon.

starsA pleasure to use
Understand that oranges aren't grapes. You don't dump a load of oranges into the juicer, press a button and watch the juice come out. You have to wash the fruit, cut them in half across the sections, place them carefully in position on the juicer, and then press. What the Breville does is automatically start rotating as you push the lever down, allowing you to press the juice out with very little effort. It drains the juice into a container. The spout can be shut off so you can empty the container without juice dripping on the countertop. It's all stainless and it cleans up just by rinsing in fresh water. It's not magic, it's just the most well thought out citrus juicer I've ever used. Get a sharp knife so cutting the oranges in half is a pleasure, and making orange juice is fun. I've had the juicer a month or so now, and squeezed three bushels or so. A half bushel is about twenty pounds of oranges and makes a gallon plus of juice, or 9 or 10 pounds. This juicer is solid and looks like it will hold up a long time. Very handsome on the countertop, too.

starsThe juicer that juices
It's the best! I've tried a lot of juicers and this one is perfect. I'm enjoying tangerine juice right now and have not been dissapointed. It's great.

starsBest Juicer I haver had
I spend the moment very rarely to write a review, but this machine deserves it! I have bought shape here after reading a lot the positive reviews. For being the honest one it has thought that a good percentage was written from the supplier and they do not give the customers, so as to my expectations were not that high one. When I have received it, quicly I have found that this was the juicer that better you had never had. Every people of the tip write to this purpose are to align. It carries out flawlessly and the spout of the gocciolamento is a great idea. No just espedienti unecessary, performances. It is a dream to clean up, you literally is made in 2 minuteren. It does not obtain easier than that one. The only small edition is the advanced part that holds the fruit. The mechanism of the release is a po' impacciato, but that one is it. If you are like me and appreciated the great design, the semplicità and the functionality then this is a purchase that not you rammaricherete. I will not never go of new to the juicers of plastic with 30 trays cleaning up and cleaning up the post-use. And - in all the impartiality - task that the raves approximately this product is for real. They are an other happy customer.

starsAwesome juicer!
I am using juicer little expensive $8 that I have obtained on the closeout in 15 years ago. It has worked well but really it was carrying outside. After to have determined to replace originally I have bought it an other juicer. However, when it has arrived, it was hard to the used one to and really good old how much my. When I have called in order to give back it the operator recommeded the saying of Breville that has not had they never some you protest approximately. They are therefore happy that has taken the council to it. The Breville is juicer the more and never worthy narcotic every penny. It is sturdy therefore as attractive adding to mine countertop. Our family has eight children from 2-18 and from the first day they have all that using in order to make the limonata one, pompelmo and the juice of orange. The good part is that it is therefore easy to use and clean is that they can make them they same. The only negation is that I am failing on all the citrus that is purchase for they!

starsThe Best
This juicer of the citrus is without doubt the BETTER THING. Alive in Florida and I have some trees of the citrus. This machine juices all from small soccer to the pompelmo enormous. Up to now I have used a juicer trades them, but with the age the arthritis has made this impossibl affinchè me used. This juice machine all the fruit from a tree without to protest once. It is efficient unbelievable, easy and easy to clean up. All it must have one. Also a child could juice its own one spremuta of morning.

starsLove this citrus press.
I think this press is great. I often need lemon/lime juice for recipes I make and I am really happy I bought this juicer. It's easy to use, easy to clean up and it works really well. Can't beat that. Just want to add that I've only had the product for a few months.

starsBreville 800CPXL ... LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!
I receieved this item about a month ago. I read the reviews and felt confident that this just might be a quality item despite the somewhat high price. It's a juicer for goodness sake! Well, I was very pleased. If you all ever wonder if the reviews you read are true, they are. I remember reading one about how quiet this is when it juices, IT IS. Another indicated disappointment in the slits of the larger sized strainer for the pulp to through, they are small, but also like that reviewer indicated...its easy to scoop the pulp out and either eat it or plop it into you container. I call it "juicer's delight"! I try to prepit my fruit halves and the slits keep the smaller pits from going through and easier to pick out as you juice anyway. The handle issue being "up" and not able to lock "down" was really the only problem with its design. It's so sturdy however I carried it by the handle from my garage to kitchen when I was going to juice. I don't know if the manufacturer would OK that...but I had no problem. With larger grapefruit, I also notice not a complete extraction deep up inside. It needs a larger spinning part, wider base I mean for bigger fruit. Considering the dismal alternative I remember having to deal with squeezing and pushing on the old fashioned juice reamers. My carpal tunnel would never allow that. Waste of juice, waste of time and messy. Even thought about one of those "10,000 pounds of pressure" jobbies, but I love pulp. And those types of squeezers seem not to give out anything but the juice. I honestly never tried one, and maybe they are excellent for what they do, but I am so happy with this Breville! I tell my neighbors to give me their oranges and I'll juice them for them! I am in Florida and tis the season for the fruit juicing...any way only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the handle issue and for missing pulp and juice on larger fruit, but for free shipping (cuz its a heavy piece of equipment) you can not beat it. No regrets, recommend to anyone. Hope all my juice will freeze well! D. Nutt, Enterprise, FLorida

starsJUICER
The JUICER LESS SAWS Of DESIRE THEIR FONTANA Before the PURCHASE BUT Of the CLAIMS THAN YOU WEIGH One TON IN ORDER TO MOVE AROUND On MY CONSTRUCTED CONTATORE MUCH GOOD

starsRaving about the new juice!
The only problem that I have with this machine is that I cannot maintain some oranges around more! They obtain juiced not as soon as I obtain them in the hatch! It buys one!

starsMy last juicer
Needing large quantities of fresh lime juice for making margaritas for large groups, I own two press juicers (a tall commercial gear unit and an Orange-X small compound leverage press) and a Krups motorized unit. The press juicers leave too much juice in the rind, and the Krups is a pain to keep the fruit centered on the rotating spindle.

The Breville combines the advantages of both types of units, with a lever handle that presses the fruit down while it centers it with a pin, and a rotating metal ribbed cone for full extraction. The Breville extracts twice as much juice than the press units, with the lever handle lowering the fruit effortlessly.

The unit is beautifully finished and well made, looking like Germany more than China. I have only tried juicing limes, and can't say how larger fruits behave, but so far this is the most pleasurable kitchen gadget I have ever used.

starsI like this machine alot!
We have tried other types of juicers of the citrus in the past and not there is comparison. This is calm and much efficient one. It makes a good job with all you form you of the citrus except possibly the smallest of soccer key. Highly suggested.

starsgreat juice juicer
The juicer of the citrus of Breville he is large. It is much easy one to work. The motor is amazingly calm and the parts are all stainless steel in fashion from being able to wash itself them in the dishwashers. The juicer they have made the job express of soccer, the lemons, the oranges and the tangelos that we have pressed. It is necessary probably 5 second ones of the orange of the pressed one to the half. With our old one pressed of the citrus your hand and arm they would be tired after 6 or 8 oranges juicing. With the Breville the long handle and the powerful motor render it nearly that it does not demand effort. One characteristic that final we love is that the spout of the spremuta one cracks in on and arrests the flow of the spremuta one when wished to change the containers of the spremuta one.

starsBreville juicer
An outstanding machine in every respect,I have used many juicers in my lifetime and the Breville is the best.

starseasiest to use home orange juicer
I have the red-colored model(800CPXLR) of the otherwise identical juicer that I bought from Golda's Kitchen of Canada, while it was on clearance sale. It seems the red model is not available from U.S. dealers. It cost me a bit more to buy from a Canadian company because of the higher shipping cost and the currently unfavorable exchange rate, but to me the apple red color is much more visually appealing than the cold look of brushed stainless steel and was worth the extra cost.

This is the highest quality consumer-grade citrus juicer on the market by a wide margin. All the parts that come into direct contact with juice are made of stainless steel and it is easy to clean. Even the cone is made of very heavy cast stainless steel, a rare feature among orange juicers. The juicer is very heavy as far as home-duty orange juicers go, on account of the heavy 110W motor and heavy cast metal components. The heft definitely spells quality. The 110W motor has plenty of power. It comes with 2 strainers, coarse and fine, but this is clearly a low pulp machine. The coarse strainer will pass through a moderate amount of pulp; the fine will pass through almost none. Folks who desire high pulp from this juicer will likely have to scrape up some pulp from the strainer with a spoon and add it to their cups.

This is by far the easiest and fastest orange juicer I've ever used. Center a half orange on the cone and press the lever moderately hard and the pulp will be extracted cleanly from the orange. However, getting wet pulp off the orange is only half the battle. The other half of the battle is to extract juice from the wet pulp mesh using the strainer basket. For this machine, it does the first part with lightning efficiency, but on the second part it only does an average job. The overall result is that the total juice extraction rate is good, but not superb, because it does leave behind a considerable amount of very wet pulp in the strainer basket. The pulp has the consistency of wet apple sauce and I usually eat the tasty pulp after I finish drinking the juice. In comparison, very expensive commercial orange juicers ($600 and up) typically have a sieve spinning at 1500 rpm or so to extract every possible drop of juice from the wet pulp to give 15% to 20% more juice than home juicers. The missing spin feature is the only major design feature lacking that I really wish it had, but then the spin extraction feature is rarely found on consumer-grade machines.

Another minor flaw is that the upper mold that fits on the cone is held loosely in the lever arm by a flimsy hard plastic snap ring. Daily removal of the upper piece will most likely wear off the snap ring's friction in short order. For this reason, it may be wiser to just wipe the upper piece clean after each juicing session instead of popping it out for washing, but it is held so loosely that wiping it softly is enough to make it pop out from the arm.

In this price range, this is the best orange juicer I have seen yet.

starsHoly Juice!!
I wanted just a citrus juicer (no vegetable juice, thanks), and bought this on the overwhelmingly positive reviews. And the reviews are dead on, it's a first rate product that is well made, easy to use and clean, and it looks good. Drinking carton orange and grapefruit juice is no longer an option.

starsGreat Citrus Juicer
The Breville is a beautiful, well designed citrus juicer. It gets all the juice from oranges as well as the pulp. For the hell of it I even tried juicing apples - didnt work so well. it makes great applesauce but hardly any juice comes from it. Two oranges will make about a cup of juice. Clean up is easy, you can put it in the dishwasher but I just rinse it off in water and air dry. I see this juicer lasting a long time.

starsThis fantastic juicer actually saves me money!!
After using little juicers for a brace of the years (you can see they them my reviews on amazon) I have seen this machine to a warehouse and I have bought it from amazon. They have been jumped absent! The juicer better never. Therefore powerful! The oranges come towards the bone-dry outside, every spremuta drop of enter in the glass. I compress the fresh juice of orange every $1 at least morning and are sure that I am conserving a day because this machine is therefore the much most efficient one than all my previous ones. I buy little oranges in order to obtain the same braces of the glasses of spremuta. To this rate, the machine will pay if 100% of 4-5 months. The unit is sturdy, good-looking, calm, easy to wash itself. A fantastic part of domestic technology!

starsWorth every penny
I purchased this machine 3 months ago out of necessity but primarily due to it's excellent reviews. Needless to say I am not disappointed! This machine contains a motor which is unbelievably quiet and surprisingly powerful. It's design is easy on the eyes and the Breville quality goes along way.

I would recommend this product to anyone searching for a jucing Citrus machine.

starsNot so fast with this purchase.....
In the first place, I have not had problem with Amazon, I have sent when they have said... If you drink them the spremuta a lot and appreciate the polpa. That is not the juicer for you. For: 1, Sturdy construction. 2. The handle is easy to use. Against: 1. A glass standard (the small glass of the spremuta one) not to adapt itself under the spout of vers, without to put the juicer on a book, or to raise it in some way. 2. In order to clean up the advanced part, you must push saldamente on the exact center of the key, because a variation of this and your inch or barretta, with the scoring against the edge of the handle (and of it it has cutting edges), also in order to put it behind you are a po' deceptive. 3. The sieve of course (fine) does not leave some polpa through at all. Nothing for oranges and nothing for the lemons. Washed: The pulizia it was easy. But, there is area much to clean up (4 articles), confronted to juicers storti (3 articles)

starsBest little juicer ever
I was trying juicer of the citrus in order enough a moment. We have orange and the trees of pompelmo in ours iarda and the old one juicer that I have had were an accessory to an old processor of the food. It was therefore noisy and boring to use. Then they are happened on the Breville to the house of the friend and that I have known that as soon as I must have had it! I love therefore a lot that I am paying the amounts exhorbitant of moneies the oranges to the warehouse of the drogheria since are here from the season. I cannot obtain of this enough easy to use, juicer therefore calm.

starsBreville 800CPXL is a star

starseasy to use and easy on the eyes
Systems of this juicer of the narcotic hip fastly. We have been on a mania of the martini of the lemon lately and it renders it therefore much easier than old one juicer of plastic. Easy to clean up easy to use. Highly reccommend it!!!!! Sembr larger on your contatore of the kitchen.

starsthe best
This is the sexiest piece of kitchen equipment ever. I cannot believe how easy and user friendly this is. I am going through 25 pounds of oranges weekly now. After looking for 3 months for the perfect juicer, this is it

starsBest Citrus Press
I bought this as a gift for my dad who juices a minimum of 20 oranges and other citrus combined from his groves. Feedback from him and two other people who saw the juicer in action say it is a superior piece of machinery.

starsLate
Why they take therefore long in order to transmit, must have in action when purchase it. They have place like the old days in which return 6 weeks in order to obtain your order. Not ROM of order they still

starsBrevill Stainless Citrus Press
I have see again the other observations online and have decided to obtain this juicer. Distortion of speed has ecceduto the expectations; if you are not carefull you can juice the pure rinds. Constructed to much good and impressive; the quiet and easy to work, they clean up is one I crack. It buys it - you will not be spiacenti.

starsA wonderful juicer
I have been using this juicer for over a month and I am absolutely delighted with this purchase. It is an amazing product, looks beautiful in my kitchen counter, and the operation is simple. Parts are also easy to remove and clean. I feel it is worth every penny I paid for. If somebody wants to have real orange or grapefruit juice, this is the one to buy. It is the best juicer I ever had.

starsExceeded All Expectations -Best Juicer, and BEST PRODUCT of the year.
I have not never written a review on Amazon before, but therefore darn I was only made an impression with this product that I have thought that I would have to be shared. Our new center has 6 trees of the citrus, entire producing in beautiful way. We possess a juicer of the pressed one of the hand, the Metrokane could OJ, but to make a quarter of the OJ is a reasonably laborious transaction and much sudicio with that one. We have been married in May and are decided in order to record for a juicer of the citrus. After the reading of the reviews, we have selected Breville 800CPXL. Hour we are using the juicer for two months and I must say that it is by far the product that more narcotic I could imagine! It is sturdy and powerful and calm. It is planned in beautiful way. And it is therefore easy to use. Juicing is that it does not demand effort. It renders therefore much spremuta more that the pressed one of the hand never. I have used to need approximately 10-12 oranges making 2 cups of the OJ, hour I obtain that from 5 oranges. You can say to that an amount effort narcotic has entered in the design, because all seems therefore simple. Sapete all raves approximately the facility of use of the iPod? Calculating Apple Facesse juicer of the citrus gushes if, a this is the juicer that they would make. The spout of the anti-gocciolamento is ingenious. It really systems! And it cleans up is therefore therefore therefore therefore easy. Seriously, they are a sudicia person impacciata, but the design on this is therefore good that I do not drip one single drop on the contatori. The cut of the citrus to half is the sudicia part of the treaty... the juicer and cleans up later on, is one breeze. Moreover the process juicing is DIVERTIMENTO with this. Lately, when I have friends over, I am convincing them to try them outside and all it loves it Is entertainment! If been studying the possibility to buy a juicer of the citrus, it does not have hesitations... that this juicer of Breville is perfection.

starsA serious piece of equipment.........
That is a juicer resistant. Not hardly you take from the box it to it you can see that as it is made and how much thought has entered in the planning and the construction. Juices a lot calmly, quickly and effortlessly. With nearly no applied pressure, there is nothing on the left but the orange peel. I have not seen never qualche.cosa enough. I love that the spout nozzle in on, therefore is deposit here. It cleans up is easy - hardly a fast risciacquatura of the 4 parts and you are you wait for in order to still go. And, it seems beautiful on my contatore. Outcomes not to buy this - it transports that what promises.

starsNo other juicer like it!
I looked and looked for a juicer for citrus that beat the manual methods. Thjis was the one to do the job on paper. It delivered the goods just like advertized. It is easy to clean, quick, gets all the juice out of the fruit and just works great. It is a great looking item in our kitchen. I was not sure I could get a great citrus juicer without spending a lot more money. This one works for the budget as well as being ideal for juicing. Great product.

starsVery pleased with purchase
I was not originally looking for an electric citrus juicer, since I thought that the sound of the motor and vibration of the machine would bother me. Well...not with this juicer! It is made very, very solidly and I don't feel any vibration at all when I juice. It's easy to clean. Just be sure to rinse all the parts with juice/pulp right after you juice and you're done. It just fits under my kitchen cabinet and it looks nice enough to leave out. It does take 2 large oranges to get a glass of juice, so buy in bulk. Only downside...manufacturer recommends room temp oranges for more juice (Martha Stewart even suggests microwaving for 10 seconds for the most juice). I like my juice really cold, so you have to juice early and refridge OR add ice to the glass. Seriously, that's the only downside so far.

starsThe best orange juicer I have seen.
As an orange juice addict, I've tried almost every juicer on the market. If I could give this product 6 stars, I would. Its one possible downfall is that it is so well made, than you wouldn't wish to move it in and out of storage on a regular basis. It's pretty heavy due to its amazing construction. If ever 'form follows function' can be seen in a small appliance, this is it. I can't think of something to make it a better product.

starsVery Happy Customer
I have bought this unit because I have wished the fresh spremuta one in the mornings of but not in the mess of a juicer, I have wished the juices of citruses. This unit if much easy one to use, pulizia easy, little you leave, spremuta exceptional. Inferior line, I would still buy it? You bet!

starsIf it were human, I'd ask it to marry me!
The price scared me at first, but after reading all the fantastic reviews and finally breaking my small pathetic juicer, I gave in and bought this thing.

It is by far the best appliance I have. Easy to use...10 minutes after I got it, I was making orange juice. It cleans up easily. All I do is take the parts...3 of them, rinse them, and sit out to dry.

There are two filters, one for high pulp, one for low. It is easy to switch between them. The spout closes, so if you are still juicing, but your cup or container is full, you just close the spout, keep juicing, put another cup underneath and open the spout. WAHOO!

The large grapefruits take 5 seconds to juice completely. The oranges and lemons take about 4 seconds. You don't have to push on the press handle very hard at all.

This is the best juicer EVER!

starsBreville 800CPXL CITRUS PRESS
Better what for having fresh OJ every day. Easy to use, practical and sheets least to waste. I have seen this product in Europe and have been excited when I have found it here.

starsStylish and well-built machine
The whole thing IS heavy, and you get the feeling of something built to last (so rare nowadays), and with lots of power. Also, the style immediately draws attention of most people entering our kitchen.

Advantages:
1. Large handle makes it easy and convenient to operate the machine (plus you do not have to press with your hands). Torque is limitless, and juice extraction efficient.
2. A really important (and unexpected) advantage is the possibility to lift the nozzle that clicks and stays up (no dripping!) when you remove the upper part and carry it to the sink. That's the first ever no-dripping citrus press we've ever owned.
3. When not operational, the pulp/juice container and press are protected by a transparent plastic cover that prevents dust accumulation (and injuries) and can be removed instantly.
4. The whole upper part is light and very easy to remove and wash, and there are no stains left on the metal so far.
5. Last but not the least, one can also quickly remove the lid/cover (that covers the citrus half from the top and presses down on it) from the handle and wash it as well.

Besides that, the machine significantly outperforms a conventional citrus press that we had before both in terms of output/efficiency and convenience, let alone design.

On the downside, the pulp container (with the filter at its bottom) is shallow enough, so you can't extract too much juice before having to empty it. Still, I guess that juice extraction becomes significantly less efficient when too much pulp accumulates on top of the filter, and the machine accommodates enough pulp to get at least 4 glasses of juice, that is typically sufficient unless one tries business applications.

starscitrus juicer
This is the most well constructed, easy to use juicer I have ever owned. I usually squeeze 10 to 12 oranges every morning for my family, a job I hated before this. This gets all the juice out efficiently, quickly, without having to peel the orange. It also does a good job on grapefruit. Easy to clean. The stop drip spout is a wonderful piece of engineering. Great leverage on the handle, doesn't move around the counter in use. No regrets on spending the $$$.

starsBuy this juicer. You won't regret it.
The type that has only estimated stars of this juicer 2 obviously has read the instructions and it is not using the machine correctly. That is the machine that finer has never used, both within plans and produces. Alive in own Florida and I have my orange, pompelmo, lemon and of limetta and make juicing a lot in lotteries. I have to burn the models more little expensive and burnt outside on the pressed manual types of. In order to conclude, I have found the juicer of Breville and was the answer to my prayers. It is constructed like a tank and it will last a course of the life. Juices the format of evey of the citruses with facility and extracts every spremuta drop of, all with the least effort and is much easy one to clean up later on. It is to observe pleasant, resistant machine that would have to last a course of the life. And for that type that has had a problem with the test of the spout... that juicing with the open spout. The only time you must be closed is when it removes the container give under the spout in order to empty the spremuta one or in order to clean up the screen of the polpa. The heck, this machine juices so as to darned fastly you the spout can traboccare when they make a large one pompelmo or lemon of ponderosa. This fact is so as to smaller that is not not even worthy to point out, less that it attests to the feeding of the machine. I can juice a bushel entire of oranges in twenty minuteren and are all cleaned up after ten minuteren that one. In effects..... if that type does not wish its machine, I will take it. Every penny is worthy and then some!

starsfantastic citrus juicer
This is an extremely well made machine that is very easy to use.It comes with two different gauge strainers to allow either more or less pulp to fill the glass. I prefer to use the fine strainer so as not to allow the very small seeds to get through. Then I'll take a small spoon and fill the glass with pulp after I've weeded out the seeds. This does not take long. Clean up is very easy. This is not an inexpensive juicer, but if you want a machine that should last for a very long time and is a pleasure to use then this is the one. It also looks great sitting out on the counter.

starsBest Citrus Juicer I've Found at this Price
As soon as we have received pressed ours of the citrus of Breville 800CPXL after the festivities and we have used it several times from then. Confronted to the version that of plastic of Krupps of the low-extremity (and the much less expensive one) we have replaced (that it has continued to release our GFCI), we estimate stars of this product 4,5 on 5. It falls short just of perfection, but he is that although the juicer that of the more elegant citrus and more they works I have been able to find to this point of prices. SIMILAR: 1) the fused design beautiful thinks the substance and stays to put when it speeds up the citrus. Kudos to the group assigned to the industrial engineering in order to transform in juicer a work of art. That is the pressed electrical worker of the citrus seeming by far better on the market. 2) the brushed stainless outside goes with all the decoration and seems large on countertop. No reason memorizzar it via. 3) the smontabile river basin of the spremuta one and the sieve is easy to handwash (suggests for means of small brush or toothbrush in order to contribute to clean up outside the polpa). 4) it can press a glass 8-oz of the juice of orange in less than a minute and the systems with the lemons, the Mandarin, oranges and the pompelmi without changing elements. ZONES FOR IMPROVEMENT: This juicer works well and strikes others that have tried. However, there are some zones that the technical assistants of Breville could improve in their following model. No of these recommendations would have indurle to avoid to buy this unit, but the directory that although since is always room here to improve the greater part of the products: 1) he does not handle the large one pompelmo as also I would appreciate. Still part of left some juice/pulp in the skin, that I have compressed by hand outside. Breville has been able to study the possibility to more adequately offer a greater connection to graded release for the pressure of the pompelmo. 2) to times the skin the remains the orange attacked to the inside of the advanced part of the pressed one, petitioner manual extraction. Perhaps I am pressing too much hard, but this anchor seems to happen every so often. In some occasions, they are arrested the motor to me completely that it has I surprise it. However, to arrest the motor has not induced the GFCI to continue to release like the model that of Krupps we have replaced. 3) the cable electrical worker is planned pleasantly, but little too much short. I would prefer to see a cable 6' in order to catch up taken the more neighbor while I allowed the flexibility within where to arrange the juicer on the countertop. 4) if left the juicer outside on the countertop in which there is a cabinet here over, the explosions of the handle (pressed) against the advanced part of the cabinet and little demands finesse to pull it towards the edge of the countertop when you are waited for in order to use them. The typical height between countertop and the inferior part of a cabinet are 18"/- 1" and the structure of the face of the cabinet sporge often approximately 1/2"circa under the inferior part of the side of the cabinet. If Breville down offered a position of blocking with the handle, this would not be a problem and would be easier to make to slide towards the outside the juicer in the position from the posterior part of the contatore. 5) the handle in if a fragile one once confronted little to the rest of the fused machine seems. While it is works them sure and enough strongly, I would prefer an arm of the fused handle convex solid (cross-sectional section oval) against the type invert cross-sectional section "of U" of the running design. Even if the running arm seems to be jet of the dice, during the process of the extraction, spremuta and polpa it stretches to splatter on the concave side of the handle. That makes the cleaning of the handle a small harder than it if if the cross-sectional section of the handle were convex on the high and the bottom. In a generalized manner, this is an excellent product with design GRASSETTO and the good looks. I suggest this model to that desires to add the citrus of recent compressed to your daily regimen or weekly magazine. I cannot comment the reliability of long duration of the motor since we have only had the unit for some weeks. But therefore up to now good.

starsA solid product
(I have rewritten parts of this review as of Apr 1, 2006 after much more usage.) In summary: I am very happy with the juicer.

I was also prompted to write a review because of the person who writes about all the problems with the spout. I think I may know what the problem there is: It sounds like he juices with the spout in the up position instead of down. When juicing, the spout is supposed to be down. In fact, one of the nice things about this juicer is the spout. When you have enough juice or want to remove the juice catcher, lift the spout up and it closes off the flow of juice.

I have found the machine very easy to use and to clean. I was impressed with the cleanup. It takes me about 2 minutes -- literally. Just rinse the parts, scrub the strainer with a stiff brush, and then leave to dry.

I juice a lot of lemons and I have had only minor difficulty: If the lemon is too pointy I have to cut that point off to keep the lemon from spinning in the top "cup" that holds it. I haven't had the same problem with oranges.

I think it is a little on the pricey side. I got mine as Macy's on sale for $135.

I also have a Black and Decker motorized citrus juicer. It is a lot more work and does not get all of the juice. The Breville gets every last drop faster and easier.

starsFirst-rate Product Well Worth The Cost
That is my according to product of Breville, first being the juicer of yields-verdura 800JEXL. If you read the reviews for that product, you will nearly see 50 reviews entire to give to the product 5 stars. That the product deserves 5 stars and the pressed one of the citrus is in the same line high-end of those juicer and moreover they deserve 5 stars. When Breville has exited with the pressed one of citrus 800CPXL, I have had complete confidentiality that would be still an other product first-installments and is happy for saying that uniform is ' more perfect ' that theirs juicer of yields-verdura. I really do not understand the other critic for this pressed of the citrus that has given to the product 2 stars. Nearly all Parte-de-$$$-LINEA produced of the Breville obtains 5 reviews of the star and for looks and systems to me of this product particularly well and I cannot imagine anyone that it is displeased with it. The other critic who the talks approximately rust, juice not to flow correctly, the parts difficult to remove, etc have pushed it to write this review, like task that or obtained a defective unit -- or I do not know that what. This unit, like other Parte-de-$$$-LINEA produced of Breville, is absolutely first-installments and I invite them to consider if my review is more constant with other Parte-de-$$$-LINEA produced of Breville or the anomaly of the review of the other critic. The combination of mechanical pressure and motorized spin is diamond, poichè extracts every spremuta tip of from the citrus. The unit is heavy and sturdy and the little parts that compose it are constructed in order to think, to appear and to work flawlessly. I have used up to now for a brace of the months and is to work it that to clean up the parts they are easy beyond the words. Use a high glass in order to collect a spremuta one and not is to overthrow of the external part or sgocciolatura at all of the sort any, therefore a lot so that it does not have to clean up the low unit or the contatore around to the unit after that juice -- at all! I have juicer an electrical worker of the citrus of Braun and still decided to buy this unit of Breville even if coast to several times the price of others juicers electrical workers of the citrus, but I was so as to impressed with theirs juicer 800JEXL that I have known this pressed of the citrus he would not disappoint and could not be happier with it. More Info sees the Web site of the company in order on this unit: http://www.brevilleusa.com/diecastseries/

starsPoor design - citrus press is messy and awkward
While the pressed one of the citrus is attractive (even if from the great side), is a sure number of design defects. After that one of washing of the ciotole of the metal that stores the spremuta one, a rust ring immediately has appeared and it does not come outside with the normal washing. The spout that the spremuta one leaves outside cannot repair the flow of 3 oranges juiced. In freeing the spout lasci the spremuta one to flow in your glass, the spremuta one circulates on the spout and lacks your glass, than means you forgiveness spremuta but also the gocciolamenti of spremuta down the side of the machine, than it demands you to clean up it. Then you must raise the juicer (than it is not clear) in order to clean up under it. The design is scomodo in how much cannot easy remove the elements of the juicer that they demand the pulizia after every use. For the price of this juicer, I would not preview all these problems.
